Since we've been home we've been living out of our suitcases at our parent's homes and trying to soak up our time in Utah before we start our next adventure!
This week we went to California with Mom and Dad Allen. We love traveling with them and we have so much fun together. It was great to feel the sun again and spend time with family.
Just like every year when baseball season starts it's all Jeff can talk about, thus, he was ecstatic when Dave surprised us with tickets to the Angels v. Red Sox game.
We also had a blast riding the dingy around Newport harbor
We sat next to Magic Johnson while eating lunch at the Montage hotel in Laguna Beach.
We rode bikes along the boardwalk
And we played in the sun and at the beach!
Next week we leave for Edmonton Canada for the summer! Jeff is joining my brother Tyler's team to do summer sales for Vivint. While he is trekking house to house selling all day, I will continue to work remotely for the Welfare department of the LDS Church.
We are excited for this new adventure. Who would have guessed we would spend 9 months of this year living out of the country? We are especially excited to have family with us this time-- It will be great to spend the summer with Ty and Alex!

HOW WONDERFUL! You two look so wonderful with your Mexico, and now california tans! Riding bikes on the beach is like my dream!! Red socks, magic johnson... it all sounds like soooo much fun! You have awesome in-laws Laur! And I must say, they have been blessed with theeeeee very BEST daughter in law they could ever ask for!

Oh sure! Just go to California and get more tan and meet famous people while the rest of us are freezing our bums off here in Utah!

That is my home sweet home!!! It is so happy to see familiar pictures of Angels baseball and the beach. We also had a great time down there last week, but we sure didn't see anyone famous. ;) But wasn't the weather amazing?? I can't wait to hear about your next adventure!
