Vanessa and I spent the morning in downtown Edmonton where she showed me what Canada Day is all about! We enjoyed a free pancake breakfast, live music, artisan booths, and did a little shopping.
I got the biggest kick out of these dogs wearing sunglasses, hats, and Canadian flags!
The boys ended work early because of the holiday and we had a fun barbeque with everyone.
Afterwards we went with Scott and Vanessa to watch the fireworks show. The fireworks started at 11 p.m., but we are so far north in Canada that it says light out until nearly midmight!

Happy Canada Day! I love that you guys are in CAnada! Edmonton looked like they had some really awesome celebrations going on. I wish our travels could bring us closer to you, or your travels could bring you closer to us... I would love to see you guys! It is so cool that you get to live in different countries and have all of the cultural experiences! Love you guys!
LOL I can't believe you live in Edmonton right now. Is it as amaaazing as Garrett said it was? hahahahahaha
